The unit is intended for checking whole or cut agri‑food products, such as fruit and vegetables. Spray is capable of rejecting colour defects, rotten products and foreign bodies — even if they are the same colour as the good product. The product is fed onto the inspection belt, which stabilizes it so that it does not roll. The inspection zone is clearly separated from the rejection zone in order to avoid splashes that could, over time, affect the selection process. Spray is equipped with an air rejection system with 176 electrically controlled ejection valves. It can have a single ejection system, or, in 3‑Way mode, be equipped with two rejection systems that separate unusable defective products from those considered second‑grade.
